The Process
Diarmuid Sexton — I love design that gets out of the way — clean and simple, but powerful enough to make a lasting impression.
I started out in civil engineering, graduating from UCC in 2009. But a few years later, I found myself drawn to the world of design — and by 2012, I’d traded spreadsheets for screen layouts and made the leap into web design. What began as a freelance experiment quickly turned into a career I love.
Since then, I’ve designed and launched hundreds of websites — now focusing on clean, fast, and user-friendly sites for dentists, orthodontists, and other small businesses. I’m passionate about functional design that feels intuitive and effortless — the kind of site that just works.
I grew up in Adare, County Limerick, where I played hurling and football (and even lined out for Limerick at county level). These days I live in Dublin with my partner Emi. When I’m not at the desk, I’m usually on the move — running, golfing, cycling the city, snowboarding, or listening to music somewhere along the way.

I always recommend showing staff faces as it increases trust and familiarity for website visitors.
Getting a professional photographer is optional - it can be a good idea to get nice photos of your staff, team and practice. However, it is not always necessary to get a professional photographer - sometimes a good phone camera in the right lighting can work fine for simple headshots.
Stock photos and icons will be used in other areas as required.
If you have one, great. If not, I can design a simple, professional logo for you and build the rest of the website to match.
Payments are handled securely via Stripe. It’s quick to set up, and funds are transferred to your bank account automatically. Stripe charges 1.5% + 25c per transaction.
Yes — you’ll have access to an easy-to-use CMS to update text and images. Design or layout changes require my input and are quoted separately.
Yes — the Local Enterprise Office offers a Trading Online Voucher covering 50% of costs up to €2,500. If your project costs €4,000, you’ll get €2,000 back.
No monthly maintenance is needed — Webflow sites are fully hosted and self-updating. You’ll only need to cover annual hosting, and larger updates are priced on request.
Yes — I can set up Google Workspace accounts like info@yourclinic.ie. Setup is €150, with an additional €100 for email migration. Google charges €80/year per user.
Yes — all forms are fully GDPR compliant. Personal data is handled securely and can be deleted upon request, keeping you in line with current regulations.
I take care of hosting and management through Webflow — a modern, reliable platform with fast load times, 99.99% uptime, and built-in SSL for security.
The site is hosted on Webflow, which offers secure infrastructure, continuous monitoring, and compliance with GDPR and SOC 2 standards. Access is secured with 2-Factor Authentication.
